I am an Interactive Media student, and the CEO of Hash-Tag Media. Hash-TagMedia.com was project was originally conceived by me and my sister, to host our online radio shows. What I didn’t realise was how popular the site would become. We had 1000 visits within the first few weeks. That’s when I started to take it seriously. I made a new weekly radio broadcast every week this pulled in more attention to our site.
We were called Crazy Monkey Broadcasting, otherwise known as CMBroadcasting after my sister left the team to move on to her own projects. I took over the site and expanded the site too much having lots of different pages but little content. After I changed the sites name and address to Hash-Tag Media, I set about removing content and revamping the site with a new theme and front page. As well as having more people join the team such as Kurt Beer owner of Crash! FM. Together we could work together on topics we enjoy.
